CARE or CURE? WHAT WOULD YOU CHOOSE? Click here to choose! It’s difficult, especially in these economic times, to keep up BOTH the promise of research and the comfort of good care, but these are two initiatives that we are committed to and hope to never waiver from. Research promises to benefit those with NF and a 100 million Americans with cancer and learning disabilities, but a cure and new treatments take a long time to develop. In the meantime, we have NF patients receiving inadequate care through health care providers that do not have enough knowledge of the various complications of NF or the new data that research provides. NF coordinated clinics help to further research by supporting clinical trials, but mainly we need these centers to give the proper care to patients with a very complicated disorder. We hope never to have to choose between CARE or a CURE. If we did, what should we choose? What would you choose? Please help us continue the mission and at least choose one. Donate whatever you can spare to make a difference.
